"We had the room that was considered traditional and western. It had the area for the table and chairs, which then became the sleep area for 2 people with the traditional mats and in the other part of the room were 2 twin beds. Staff was very helpful and helped us arrange the shipping of our luggage. This is next to the train and bus stations so easy to catch transportation. About a 10 minute walk to the older shopping district. Convenient to have a microwave in the room to cook food. A large grocery store was about a 15 minute walk. Being next to the bus and train station did not give great views, but we were booking for the space for 4 adults and the convenience of getting around. This room had a washer/dryer combo, which was a plus because it allowed us to not have to pack as many clothes for the trip."

"Excellent Ryokan with first class service and superb dining (beautifully presented and delicious breakfast and kaiseki dinner if choosing the half board option). Room was immaculately clean and decorated in tasteful traditional style. A very enjoyable stay."

"Loved this hotel! Room was bigger than expected (Deluxe Hollywood Room) and was very clean. Check-in/out was easy with friendly and professional staff available to assist. Breakfast had a good variety of food. Main attractions were within walking distance (10-20 mins walk). Public transportation nearby (10 mins walk). Wish we stayed longer than one night for greater use of the facilities. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The two Onsens especially the outdoors one was lovely as were the treats supplied for guests to sample. Free Shuttle bus to the station also a highlight Souvenir shop reasonably priced and staff most attentive"

"Very close to the train station. Rather new hotel with very nice setup. The rooms are bigger than maybe what you find in other bigger cities in the rest of the country. Nice onsen which is not too busy when i visit."
